What is Dauntless Revived?
Dauntless was a free-to-play co-op action RPG from Phoenix Labs where Slayers team up to hunt giant Behemoths across the Shattered Isles, then craft weapons and armour from what they carve. The official servers shut down in May 2025.
Dauntless Revived is a community project that keeps the hunt going. It starts from patch 1.4.4, which includes some of the Escalations and comes before Reforge, and the team is weighing which later features to bring back. Co-op hunts, guilds and parties all work, controllers are supported, and everyone starts with a fresh account.
Hosting your own server will give your group a dedicated home with persistent progress, low-latency hunts and 24/7 uptime, so you're not waiting on crowded public servers to get a party together.
Dauntless Revived server hosting is coming soon
Dauntless shut its official servers down in May 2025, but the Slayers never left. Dauntless Revived is a community-run project that brings the game back to life from patch 1.4.4, the much-loved pre-Reforge era with Escalations included. We're preparing Dauntless Revived server hosting so your guild can hunt Behemoths on a private server of its own, without fighting for a spot on crowded public servers.

The Revived team is small and their public servers get busy, so slow queues and disconnects are expected during peak hours. A Dauntless Revived dedicated server gives your group its own space for co-op hunts, parties and guild nights, with low latency and 24/7 uptime so you can drop into the Shattered Isles whenever you like.
What a Dauntless Revived server needs
We'll publish final Dauntless Revived server requirements at launch. As a starting point, we expect around 6 GB for a single hunting party of 4, 8 GB for up to 10 Slayers and 12 GB for larger guild communities, the same sizes the plan picker above suggests. Fast single-core CPU performance and NVMe storage matter most for smooth hunts and quick island loading.
