Valheim is efficient, but its world simulation is demanding as bases grow. Valheim server RAM use creeps up with sprawling bases, large builds, and item-heavy worlds, so leave a little headroom. The simulation favors strong single-thread CPU performance, and NVMe storage keeps world saves and loading fast. If you add BepInEx mods, budget a bit more memory on top of the vanilla baseline.
