What is Avorion?
Running your own Avorion dedicated server gives you complete control over your galaxy. Host a private co-op galaxy, a public PvE alliance server, or a modded scenario for up to 32 players. Our infrastructure is tuned for Avorion with high-clock CPUs (galaxy sectors are CPU-intensive), NVMe storage, and enterprise-grade DDoS protection so your fleet operations stay smooth as your empire grows.

INSTANT SETUP
Get your Avorion server online in minutes with our streamlined deployment process. No technical expertise required - choose your plan and we'll automatically configure your galaxy. Your crew can start warping immediately.
Our automated system handles everything from SteamCMD provisioning to port configuration, galaxy seed setup, and network hooks. Whether you're running a private co-op galaxy or a full 32-slot alliance server, your Avorion server will be ready in under 10 minutes.

AUTOMATIC BACKUPS
Protect your Avorion galaxy with our automatic backup system. Your save data, sector state, player blueprints, alliance rosters, mod configuration, and DLC settings are regularly backed up so a crash, corruption, or bad update never costs your crew their empire.
Restoring a backup is just a click away. Select the snapshot you want from the control panel and roll back instantly - critical for a game where a single bad restart can wipe hours of ship-building.

DDOS PROTECTION
Keep your Avorion server safe from attacks and unauthorized access. We've built enterprise-grade security into every plan so your persistent galaxy stays online, even when bad actors try to bring the server down mid-raid.
Our infrastructure includes advanced DDoS protection on all plans, capable of absorbing high-volume attacks without affecting sector simulation or in-game performance. Your alliance focuses on the fleet, not the connection.

FULL FILE ACCESS & WORKSHOP MOD SUPPORT
Take complete control of your Avorion server with full SFTP access and a powerful in-browser control panel. Install Steam Workshop mods, enable the Black Market and Into the Rift DLCs, edit your server.ini and galaxy config, drop in custom blueprints, and fine-tune every setting without restrictions.
Whether you're running vanilla PvE, hardcore PvP alliance war, or a full modded scenario, our 24/7 support team can help with mod setup, DLC configuration, and performance tuning.

Best Avorion server hosting
A galaxy that only exists while one player is online is not much of a galaxy. An Avorion dedicated server keeps sectors, stations and alliance holdings ticking over whether anyone is logged in or not, which is what makes the long push toward the core worth starting. Wabbanode runs Avorion server hosting with instant setup and full Steam Workshop support.
What your Avorion server needs
Avorion simulates every sector your players keep loaded, so memory tracks how spread out the crew is rather than how many people are online. Plan for around 6GB for a 10-player co-op galaxy, 10GB at 16 players, and 16GB for a busy 32-player alliance server. Sector saves grow steadily, so NVMe storage earns its place once your galaxy has some history behind it.
Workshop mods, DLC and alliances
Black Market and Into the Rift both work out of the box, as does anything you pull from the Steam Workshop. Run a private co-op galaxy, open a public PvE server, or stack mods until it barely resembles vanilla. Full file access covers every galaxy parameter either way.
Why Wabbanode
High-clock CPUs handle the sector simulation, NVMe keeps saves quick, and DDoS filtering sits in front of the lot. Automatic backups mean a bad jump into the Rift stays recoverable.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our game server hosting. Can't find what you're looking for? Contact our support team.
How do I set up my Avorion server?
Setting up your Avorion dedicated server is quick and easy. After selecting your plan, our automated system provisions the Avorion dedicated server via SteamCMD in minutes. Share the connection details with your crew and jump straight into your galaxy - no manual SteamCMD, no manual port forwarding.
Which Avorion hosting plan should I choose?
We offer three Avorion hosting plans built around the game's real RAM footprint. Our 6 GB plan supports up to 10 players - perfect for a friends-only co-op galaxy. Our 10 GB plan (recommended) supports up to 16 players and is the sweet spot for medium alliances with headroom for Steam Workshop mods and both DLCs. Our 16 GB plan supports up to 32 players for large PvE / PvP communities with heavy mod loads. Every plan includes DDoS protection, automatic backups, and 24/7 support.
How much RAM does an Avorion server need?
Avorion's dedicated server has a 4-6 GB baseline before players connect, then scales at roughly 500 MB - 1 GB per active player. We enforce a 6 GB floor because anything below is unstable, 10 GB is the sweet spot for a 16-player alliance running Workshop mods (our recommended pick), and 16 GB gives 32-player servers plenty of headroom for heavy scenarios, mods, and both DLCs.
Can I install Steam Workshop mods and the DLCs (Black Market, Into the Rift)?
Yes - our Avorion hosting has full first-class support for Steam Workshop mods and both official DLCs (Black Market and Into the Rift). Install mods through our control panel or full SFTP access, enable DLCs via server.ini, and manage load order without restrictions.
How many players and sectors can my Avorion server handle?
Avorion's game infrastructure supports up to 64 concurrent players per server. Our three plans cover the practical hosting range - 10, 16, or 32 slots - and scale with your galaxy size. Note that Avorion server RAM usage grows with active sectors as well as players, so pick a plan with headroom if you plan a large explored galaxy.
Do I need a fast CPU?
Yes - Avorion's server is CPU-heavy for sector simulation, especially with dense fleets or workshop AI mods. Our infrastructure runs high-clock CPUs so sector combat and alliance operations stay smooth even under load.
Can I upgrade my Avorion plan later?
Absolutely. You can upgrade or downgrade your Avorion server plan at any time with zero downtime. Upgrades take effect immediately and any billing differences are prorated so you only pay for what you use - which matters for Avorion where RAM needs grow as your crew explores more sectors.
Do you offer DDoS protection?
Yes - every Avorion server includes enterprise-grade DDoS protection at no extra cost. Our network filters malicious traffic automatically so your persistent galaxy stays online.
What is your refund policy?
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all Avorion hosting plans. If you're not completely satisfied with your server, request a full refund within the first week - no questions asked.
