How much RAM does a Team Fortress 2 server need?
TF2 servers are lightweight compared to modern shooters. 2 GB comfortably supports up to 12 slots for a competitive server, 3 GB is the sweet spot for the standard 24-slot casual match (our recommended pick), and 4 GB gives full 32-slot community servers plenty of headroom for SourceMod plugins, custom maps, and workshop content.
How many slots does a Team Fortress 2 server support?
