How do I set up my V Rising server?

What game modes are available?
V Rising supports multiple game modes: PvE for cooperative vampire hunting, standard PvP with castle sieging and combat, Full Loot PvP where you lose everything on death, and Duo PvP with restricted team sizes. You have full control over server rules.
How does the vampire blood system work?
Players consume blood from NPCs to gain temporary buffs based on Blood Type and Blood Quality. Different creature types provide different bonuses, and higher quality blood grants stronger effects. Managing your blood is essential for survival and combat.
What is castle building like in V Rising?
Castle building is a core mechanic tied directly to progression. Build multi-level gothic castles powered by a Castle Heart that requires Blood Essence. Castles include crafting stations, automation systems, and serve as your base for PvP sieges.
Does V Rising support mods?
Yes! While V Rising doesn't have Steam Workshop, it supports mods through the BepInEx framework. Install mods from NexusMods and Thunderstore to customize your server. Note that mods only work on private servers, not official ones.
