Storage settings control how containers work and whether the server host can access player death bags. These settings affect base organization and server administration.
Configuring Storage Settings
- Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server.

- Click the Settings tab and select Abiotic Factor Sandbox Settings.

- Locate the storage-related options and set your desired values.

- Click Save and Start your server.
Storage Settings
| Setting | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Storage By Tag | True | When enabled, containers only accept specific item types based on their tag (e.g., food containers only hold food items) |
| Host Access Player Corpses | True | When enabled, the server host can access player death bag inventories |
Understanding Storage By Tag
When Storage By Tag is enabled:
- Food containers only accept food items
- Tool racks only accept tools
- This helps with automatic organization
- Prevents accidentally mixing item types
When disabled:
- Any container can hold any item type
- More flexible but less organized
Host Access to Corpses
The Host Access Player Corpses setting is useful for server administration:
- Helps recover items when players can't reach their death location
- Allows hosts to assist players who died in inaccessible areas
- Can be used to manage server inventory and prevent item loss
Your storage settings are now configured. Your base organization and administrative capabilities are now set according to your preferences.
