How to Add Custom Maps to Your ARK Server

The Steam Workshop offers community-created maps that add entirely new worlds to explore. You can install any Workshop map on your ARK server using the map's Mod ID.

Finding the Map Mod ID

1. Open the Steam Workshop for ARK.
2. Browse or search for your desired map.
3. Open the map's Workshop page and copy the Mod ID from the URL (the number after ?id=).

Installing the Custom Map

1. Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server.
2. Click the Settings tab and select ARK:SE Server Settings.
3. Locate Active Map Mod ID and enter the Mod ID.
4. Click Save and Start your server.

Player Requirements

Players must subscribe to the same map mod on Steam Workshop to join your server. They can find it by searching the Workshop or using the direct link.
