How to Set a Password for Your Necesse Server

Protect your Necesse server with a password to restrict access to authorized players only.

Adding a password to your Necesse server ensures only players who know the password can connect. This is ideal for private servers, playing with friends, or keeping unwanted players out of your world.

Setting a Server Password

Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and select your Necesse server.
Stop your server if it's currently running.
Click the Settings tab.
Locate the Server Password field and enter your desired password.
Click Save and start your server.

Players will now be prompted to enter the password when connecting to your server.

Removing the Password

To make your server public again, simply clear the Server Password field and save your settings.

Share the password with trusted players so they can join your private server.
