How to Set the Message of the Day on Your Necesse Server

Create a welcome message that displays when players join your Necesse server.

The Message of the Day (MOTD) greets players when they connect to your server. Use it to display your server name, welcome message, rules, announcements, or any information you want players to see immediately upon joining.

Setting the MOTD

  1. Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and select your Necesse server.
  2. Stop your server if it's currently running. Wabbanode control panel with stop button to shut down Necesse server

  5. Click Save and start your server.

Players will now see your custom message when they connect to the server.
