If you started playing Palworld in single‑player or hosted locally and want to move that world to your dedicated server, you can upload your save files. Note that the host character’s progress won’t carry over; the dedicated server will create a new host character instead.
Locating Your Local World Files
- Launch Palworld and click Start Game to view your list of worlds.
- Select the world you want to transfer.
- Click the small folder icon in the bottom‑left corner to open the save location on your computer. Copy all files in this folder to a safe location for uploading.
Uploading the World to Wabbanode
- Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server.
- Open the Files tab.
- Go to
/Pal/Saved/SaveGames/0
, then open the existing world folder (it will have a long random name). - Delete all files in this folder. Back them up locally if you might return to this world.
- Upload your local world files into this now‑empty directory. Do not upload the
WorldOption.sav
file, as it will overwrite your server’s configuration settings. - Return to the overview page and Start your server.
Uploading your local world lets you continue your Palworld adventure with friends on your dedicated server. Remember that the host character’s progress will reset, so store important items before transferring.
