Fine‑tuning your 7 Days to Die server settings can dramatically change how the game feels. From editing the server name and description to changing the world seed or toggling drop on death, these options are all handled in the Settings tab of the Wabbanode Control Panel. Overview
Your server’s settings control how your world looks and behaves. The Settings tab allows you to modify values such as the server name, password, world seed, map size and various gameplay options. Editing the settings through the control panel ensures the changes are applied safely and persist after restarts.
Editing Your Server Settings
- Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server. Changes to settings only take effect when the server is offline.
- Open the Settings tab for your server.
- Common settings include:
- Server Name the name that appears in the in‑game server browser.
- World Seed a string used to generate a random world. Changing this value creates a new world.
- Game Mode choose between Survival, Creative and other available modes.
- Drop on Death determine whether players lose items on death.
- Max Players set the number of concurrent players allowed.
- Modify the fields to suit your needs. Make sure to enter valid values; hovering over each field reveals tooltips that describe what each setting does.
- Press Save to apply the changes.
- Start your server.
