Keeping your 7 Days to Die server private ensures that only invited players can join. You can achieve this by setting a password and, if desired, enabling a whitelist. This tutorial explains how to configure both options using Wabbanode’s tools.
Setting a Server Password
- Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server.
- Open the Settings tab.
- Enter a strong password in the Server Password field. Choose a combination of letters, numbers and symbols that is hard to guess.
- Click Save and Start your server. Now anyone attempting to join will need to enter the password.
By setting a password and optionally enabling a whitelist, you ensure your 7 Days to Die world remains private. Adjust the password or whitelist entries anytime to control who can join.
