How to Change the Server Name on Your ARK Server

Customize your ARK: Survival Evolved server name as it appears in the in-game server browser.

The server name is how players identify your server in the ARK server browser. Choose a descriptive name that helps players find your server easily.

Changing the Server Name

Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server.
Click the Settings tab and select ARK:SE Server Settings.
Locate Server Name and enter your desired server name.
Click Save and Start your server.

Tips for Server Names

Keep names concise but descriptive
Include key details like rates or game mode (e.g., "PvE 5x Taming")
Avoid special characters that may not display correctly

Your server will now appear with the new name in the ARK server browser.
