How to Enable or Disable BattlEye on Your ARK Server

Configure BattlEye anti-cheat protection to prevent cheating on your ARK: Survival Evolved server.

BattlEye is an anti-cheat system that helps prevent cheating and hacking on your ARK server. You can enable or disable it based on your server's needs.

Players must have matching BattlEye settings in their game to connect. If BattlEye is enabled on your server, players must launch ARK with BattlEye enabled.

Configuring BattlEye

Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server.
Click the Settings tab and select ARK:SE Server Settings.
Locate BattlEye and enable or disable the toggle.
Click Save and Start your server.

When to Use BattlEye

Enable BattlEye if:

Running a public server
Concerned about cheaters
Want additional security

Disable BattlEye if:

Running a private server with trusted players
Players have BattlEye compatibility issues
Using certain mods that conflict with BattlEye

Your server will now run with the specified BattlEye configuration.
