How to Enable or Disable Third Person View on Your ARK Server

Configure third person camera view for better situational awareness on your ARK: Survival Evolved server.

Third person view lets players see their character from behind, providing better awareness of surroundings and making combat easier for some players.

Enabling Third Person View

Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server.
Click the Settings tab and select ARK:SE World Settings.
Locate Allow Third Person and enable the toggle.
Click Save and Start your server.

Using Third Person In-Game

Once enabled, players can toggle third person view by pressing the K key (default binding) while in-game.

Players can now switch between first and third person camera views on your server.
