How to Install Mods on Your ARK Server

Add Steam Workshop mods to enhance gameplay on your ARK: Survival Evolved server with new items, creatures, and features.

Steam Workshop mods can dramatically enhance your ARK experience with new creatures, items, structures, and gameplay mechanics. You can install multiple mods on your server using their Mod IDs.

Mods load in the order listed. Some mods require specific load order to work correctly. Check mod descriptions for requirements.

Finding Mod IDs

Open the Steam Workshop for ARK.
Browse or search for mods you want to install.
Open each mod's Workshop page.
Copy the Mod ID from the URL (the number after ?id=).

Installing Mods

Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server.
Click the Settings tab and select ARK:SE Server Settings.
Locate Active Mod IDs and enter your Mod IDs separated by commas.
Click Save and Start your server.

Example: 12345,67890,11111

Player Requirements

All players must subscribe to the same mods on Steam Workshop before joining. Mismatched mods will prevent connection.

Your server will download and load the specified mods on startup.
