How to Show Player Location on Map on Your ARK Server

Enable player position markers on the in-game map to help players navigate your ARK: Survival Evolved world.

When enabled, players can see their current position marked on the in-game map. This makes navigation easier, especially for new players learning the map.

Enabling Map Player Location

Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server.
Click the Settings tab and select ARK:SE World Settings.
Locate Show Map Player Location and enable the toggle.
Click Save and Start your server.

Considerations

Enabling this makes the game easier as players always know their location
Some PvP servers disable this for a more challenging experience
Useful for PvE servers and casual gameplay

Players will now see their position marker when viewing the in-game map.
