Voice over Network (VoN) is Arma 3's built-in voice chat system. You can enable or disable it and adjust the audio quality to balance bandwidth usage and voice clarity.
Configuring Voice Chat
- Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server.

- Click the Settings tab and select Arma 3 Server.cfg.

- Locate/add the voice chat settings and make any desired changes.

- Click Save and Start your server.

Add these lines to your server.cfg:
disableVoN = 0;
vonCodecQuality = 10;

Controls the audio quality and sample rate:

Tips
- Many communities disable VoN and use external voice software like Discord or TeamSpeak
- If using mods like TFAR (Task Force Arrowhead Radio) or ACRE, you may want to disable built-in VoN
- Higher quality settings use more bandwidth
Your voice chat settings are now configured. Players can now communicate using the settings you've defined.
