Embervale is home to creatures that can be tamed as companions for your players. The taming process requires patience and stealth, but mistakes happen. Configure how forgiving the taming system is when you accidentally startle an animal, from keeping all progress to losing everything and starting over.
These settings require the Game Settings Preset to be set to "Custom".
Configuring Taming Settings
- Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server.

- Click the Settings tab and select Enshrouded World Settings.

- Locate Taming Startle Repercussion and select your preferred option.

- Click Save and Start your server.
Available Options
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Keep Progress | No penalty - taming progress is preserved when startled |
| Lose Some Progress | Partial penalty - lose some progress when you scare an animal (default) |
| Lose All Progress | Full penalty - all taming progress is lost when startled |
Taming settings are now configured. When players attempt to befriend the wild creatures of Embervale, the consequences of startling their potential companions will follow your settings, making taming either a forgiving process or a test of patience and skill.
