How to Configure Voice and Text Chat on Your Enshrouded Server

Enable or disable voice and text chat and configure voice chat mode on your Enshrouded server.

Enshrouded offers built-in voice and text chat so your players can coordinate strategies, call out dangers, and share discoveries. Choose between proximity-based voice chat for immersion or global chat for easy coordination across the map.

Configuring Chat Settings

Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server.
Click the Settings tab and select Enshrouded World Settings.
Configure the chat settings as desired.
Click Save and Start your server.

Setting	Options	Description
Voice Chat Mode	Proximity, Global	Proximity = nearby players only, Global = all players
Enable Voice Chat	On/Off	Enables or disables voice communication
Enable Text Chat	On/Off	Enables or disables text messaging

Voice Chat Modes

Proximity - Voice chat only works with players near you in-game. Great for immersion and roleplay.

Global - Voice chat reaches all players on the server regardless of distance.

Your chat settings are now active. Players can communicate using the configured voice and text chat options to coordinate their adventures through Embervale.
