Sleep in Project Zomboid affects player fatigue and time progression. On multiplayer servers, you can configure whether sleep is available and whether it's required for survival.
On multiplayer servers, enabling sleep can be problematic. Time cannot advance while other players are awake, which may frustrate players who want to skip night.

Configuring Sleep
- Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server.

- Click the Settings tab and select Project Zomboid World Settings.

- Locate the Sleep Allowed setting and configure as needed.

- Click Save and Start your server.
How Sleep Works on Multiplayer
Sleep Allowed: false (Default)
- Players cannot sleep in beds
- Fatigue has no effect on gameplay
- Time continues normally for all players
Sleep Allowed: true
- Players can sleep to reduce fatigue
- Time may speed up when players sleep
- All players must be sleeping to skip time
Alternatives to Sleep
If sleep is disabled, consider:
- Using the Fast Forward setting when all players agree
- Installing mods that provide alternative fatigue management
- Adjusting difficulty to reduce fatigue impact
