The Safety System allows players to toggle their own PVP protection. When safety is on, players cannot damage or be damaged by other players. This creates a flexible middle ground between full PVP and PVE servers.

How Safety Works
A player can only hurt another player when at least one of them is in PVP mode (safety off). The skull and crossbones icon indicates PVP mode.
Safety ON (Protected)
- Player cannot damage other players
- Player cannot be damaged by other players
- Default state for new players
Safety OFF (PVP Enabled)
- Player can engage in combat
- Turning safety off has a countdown timer
- Cannot immediately turn safety back on (cooldown)
Show Safety
When Show Safety is enabled, players who have entered PVP mode display a skull icon over their head. This warns other players that they may be hostile.
The Safety System is configured. Players can now manage their own PVP protection according to your server settings.
