The world size determines how large your Rust map will be. Smaller maps create more intense PvP experiences, while larger maps give players more room to spread out and build.
Changing the world size requires a map wipe to take effect. All player buildings and progress will be lost. See How to Wipe Your Rust Server for instructions.
Changing the World Size
- Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server.

- Click the Settings tab.

- Locate the World Size field and enter your desired size.

- Click Save and Start your server.
World Size Reference
| Size | Description |
|---|---|
| 1000 | Tiny - good for small groups |
| 2000 | Small |
| 3000 | Medium (default) |
| 4000 | Large |
| 5000 | Very large |
| 6000 | Maximum size |
Larger maps require more server resources and RAM. If you experience performance issues, consider reducing the world size.
Your Rust server now has a new world size configured. Remember to wipe your server for the new size to generate a fresh map.
