The Allow SKSE setting controls whether players connecting to your server can have Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE) installed.
Understanding SKSE and Skyrim Together
Important Clarification: SKSE (Skyrim Script Extender) is NOT required to play Skyrim Together Reborn. However, the mod named "Address Library for SKSE" IS required - despite its name, it does not require SKSE itself to be installed.
What is SKSE?
SKSE (Skyrim Script Extender) is a tool that extends Skyrim's scripting capabilities, enabling more complex mods. Many popular mods require SKSE to function.
Configuring Allow SKSE
- Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server.

- Click the Settings tab and select Skyrim Together STServer.ini.

- Locate the Allow SKSE setting and set it to your preference.

- Enabled: Players can connect with SKSE installed
- Disabled: Players with SKSE are blocked from connecting
- Click Save and Start your server.
Stability Considerations
The Skyrim Together developers recommend playing without additional mods for maximum stability. If you do use SKSE mods:
- Test mods thoroughly before long playthroughs
- Check the mod compatibility tracker for known issues
- Graphics-only mods are generally safer than gameplay mods
- Save frequently as a precaution
SKSE permissions are now configured for your server. Remember that stability is best with minimal mods.
