TerrariaDownloading your world file lets you create backups, play the world in singleplayer, or transfer it to another server. World files contain all terrain, structures, chests, and placed items.
Downloading Your World
- Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server.
- Click the Files tab.
- Navigate to the
Worldsfolder.
- Select your world file (
.wldfile matching your World Name setting) and click Download.
World File Types
Your world folder may contain multiple file types:

.wld | Main world save file (required) |
.wld.bak | Backup of the world file |
.twld | tModLoader-specific world data |
For a complete backup, download all files with your world's name.
Playing the World Locally
To play your downloaded world in singleplayer:
- Move the
.wldfile toDocuments\My Games\Terraria\tModLoader\Worlds - Launch tModLoader and select Single Player
- Your world will appear in the world selection list
Your world file is saved to your computer and ready for backup or local play.
