How to Install Mods on Your tModLoader Server

Upload and enable Terraria mods on your tModLoader server by adding .tmod files and configuring enabled.json.

tModLoader servers support the same mods as your client. Upload mod files to your server and enable them so all players can enjoy modded Terraria gameplay together.

All players connecting to your server must have the same mods installed on their client. See How to Install Mods on Your tModLoader Client for client setup.

Installing Mods on Your Server

Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server.
Click the Files tab.
Navigate to the Mods folder.
Upload your .tmod files by clicking the Upload button.
Open enabled.json and add your mod names to the list.
Click Save and Start your server.

enabled.json Format

The enabled.json file lists which mods should be loaded. Example:

Use the exact mod names (internal names) without the .tmod extension.

Restart your server to load the newly installed mods. Some mods do require you to generate a new world.
