How to Set the Message of the Day on Your tModLoader Server

Display a custom welcome message to players when they join your Terraria tModLoader server.

The Message of the Day (MOTD) is displayed to players when they connect to your tModLoader server. Use it to welcome players, share server rules, announce events, or provide important information.

Setting the MOTD

  1. Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server. Wabbanode control panel with stop button to shut down tModLoader server

  4. Click Save and Start your server.
