With the introduction of crossplay support in recent updates, 7 Days to Die players on different platforms can finally survive together. Enabling crossplay on your Wabbanode server ensures that PC and console players can join the same world. This guide walks through the steps to turn on cross‑platform play.
Requirements for Crossplay
- Your server must be running a version of 7 Days to Die that supports crossplay (version 1.2 or later).
- All players must update their clients to a crossplay‑enabled build. Consoles may receive the update automatically, while PC players should ensure they are on the latest stable release.
Enabling Crossplay on the Server
- Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server.
- Open the Settings tab.
- Set Crossplay to Enabled.
- Ensure EAC (Easy Anti‑Cheat) settings are configured appropriately. Console versions require EAC to be enabled.
- Click Save and Start your server. When the server is online, players on PC, Xbox and PlayStation can connect using the same IP and port.
Joining from Different Platforms
- PC (Steam/Epic): Join as usual using the IP and port. Make sure the client version matches the server’s crossplay version.
- Xbox and PlayStation: Use the in‑game server browser or direct connect option. Enter the server’s IP and port and the password if set. Crossplay should work automatically when enabled.
Enabling crossplay opens your server to a wider community. Keep your server updated to the latest version and ensure all players are running compatible builds for a smooth experience.
