Abiotic FactorThe world name determines your server's save file name. This is useful for managing multiple worlds or starting fresh with a new save.
Changing the world name will create a new save file. Your previous world data will be preserved under the old name but won't be loaded automatically.
Changing the World Name
- Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server.
- Click the Settings tab and select Abiotic Factor Server Settings.
- Locate the World Name field and enter your desired name.
- Click Save and Start your server.
The default world name is Cascade, named after the GATE Cascade Research Facility where the game takes place.
Tips
- Use descriptive names to identify different saves (e.g., "MainWorld", "TestServer", "HardcoreRun")
- Keep world names simple without special characters
- To switch between worlds, change the world name back to the previous name
Your world name is now configured. The server will use this name for its save file, allowing you to manage multiple worlds on your Abiotic Factor server.
