Abiotic FactorThe day/night cycle in Abiotic Factor affects gameplay in significant ways - particularly because power sockets turn off at night by default. Configure these settings to adjust time progression in the GATE facility.

Configuring Day/Night Cycle
- Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server.
- Click the Settings tab and select Abiotic Factor Sandbox Settings.
- Locate the Day Night Cycle State and Day Night Cycle Speed Multiplier options and set your desired value.
- Click Save and Start your server.
Day Night Cycle State

| Always Night | 2 | Permanently nighttime - power sockets stay off |
Day Night Cycle Speed Multiplier

| 0.1 | Very slow time progression (10x longer days/nights) |
| 0.5 | Half-speed time progression |
| 1.0 | Normal speed (default) |
| 2.0 | Double-speed time progression |
| 3.0 | Maximum speed - rapid day/night cycling |
Your day/night cycle settings are now configured. Time will pass in the GATE facility according to your preferences.
