How to Use Steam Beta Branches on Your Abiotic Factor Server

Switch to Steam beta branches to test new Abiotic Factor features.

Steam beta branches allow you to run experimental or preview versions of Abiotic Factor on your server. This is useful for testing new features before they're officially released.

Beta branches may contain bugs and unstable features. Only use beta branches if you're comfortable with potential issues and want to help test new content.

Switching to a Beta Branch

Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server.
Click the Settings tab and select Abiotic Factor Server Settings.
Locate the Steam Beta Branch option and set your desired branch.
Click Save and Start your server.

Important Notes

Players must also switch to the same beta branch in their Steam client to connect
Beta branches may be incompatible with stable release save files
Features in beta may change or be removed before stable release
Check the Abiotic Factor Discord or Steam announcements for available beta branches

Your beta branch settings are now configured. You can now test upcoming Abiotic Factor features on your server.
