Abiotic FactorOnce your Abiotic Factor server is running, you can connect through the in-game server browser to begin your survival adventure in the GATE Cascade Research Facility with friends.
You will need to know your server name to find it in the server browser. You can also use Direct Connect with your server's IP address and port.
Joining via Server Browser
- Launch Abiotic Factor and click Enter The Facility.
- Click Join A Server.
- Use the search bar to find your server by name.
- Select your server from the list and click Join.
- Enter the server password if prompted.
Finding Your Server Address
To use Direct Connect, you'll need your server's IP address and port.
- Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and select your Abiotic Factor server.
- Find the Server Address in the sidebar on the left side of the panel.
Your server address includes both the IP and port (e.g., 123.456.78.90:7777). You'll need the full address including the port to connect.
Using Direct Connect
- Launch Abiotic Factor and click Enter The Facility.
- Click Join A Server.
- Select Direct Connect.
- Enter your server's IP address and port.
- Click Join.
Troubleshooting
If you cannot find or connect to your server:
- Check the server is running - Verify your server shows as "Online" in the control panel
- Verify the address - Ensure you're using the complete server address including the port number
- Check the password - Make sure you're entering the correct password (passwords are case-sensitive)
- Wait for startup - New servers may take a few minutes to fully start before accepting connections
You're now connected to your Abiotic Factor server and ready to explore the GATE facility. Work together with your fellow scientists to survive the containment breach, craft weapons from office supplies, and uncover the secrets of the research complex.
