How to Backup your Server Files

Learn how to backup your server easily, building a restore point for the future.

The Wabbanode Control Panel has a purpose-built backup manager allowing you to easily snapshot your server files from a point in time.

Customers can upgrade their backup slots at anytime, however these slots aren't limited in file space and can be used for servers of any size. Once backups have been created, they can be restored directly to your server or downloaded and extracted locally with programs such as WinRAR or 7Zip.

Backups do not expire and are available at anytime.

Accessing Server Backups

  1. Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and press Backups in the sidebar. Control Panel

Creating Server Backups

  1. Press Create Backup to save your server files at the current point in time. Create Backup
  2. Your backup will immediately be requested and your panel will reflect the status. Creating Backup
  3. Once your backup has finished (it should only take a few moments, depending on your server's size), it will be immediately available for download or restoration. Backup Controls
