Additional ports allow you to run extra services alongside your main game server, such asvoice chat plugins, remote console access, or mod-specific features. The Wabbanode Control Panel makes it easy to create and manage these ports without manual network configuration. This guide shows you how to assign and remove additional ports for your server.
Creating an Additional Port
- Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and select your server.
- Click Ports in the sidebar to access the port management page.

- Click Create New Port to create a new port allocation.

- Enter a descriptive name for the port to help you remember its purpose (for example, "Voice Chat", "Web Panel", or "RCON").

- Make note of the assigned port number or copy it to your clipboard. You will need this port number when configuring your mods, plugins, or services.

The new port will appear in your port list and is immediately available for use by your server applications.
Removing an Additional Port
If you no longer need an additional port, you can remove it to keep your port list organized:
- Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and select your server.
- Click Ports in the sidebar.

- Locate the port you want to remove in your port list.

- Click the trash can icon next to the port.

The port will be immediately removed and will no longer be available for use. Make sure no services are actively using the port before removing it, as this may cause those services to stop working.
Troubleshooting
- Cannot create additional port. Check if you have reached your port limit for your server plan. You may need to remove unused ports or upgrade your plan.
- Service not accessible on new port. Ensure your service is configured to listen on the correct port number. Double-check the port number in your port list and verify it matches your service configuration.
- Port disappeared after deletion. This is expected behavior. Once deleted, the port is released and returned to the available port pool. If you need it again, create a new port.
Creating additional ports gives you the flexibility to run multiple services alongside your game server. Use descriptive names to keep track of each port's purpose, and remove unused ports to maintain a clean configuration.
