The Wabbanode Control Panel has a purpose-built backup manager allowing you to easily snapshot your server files from a point in time.
As detailed in our guide on How to Backup your Server Files, backups do not expire and are accessible at anytime. For this reason, it's highly recommended to create a Scheduled Task to automatically backup your server regularly, such as once a day.
If any unforeseen issues arise on your server, restoring your server backup is as easy as creating a server backup.
Accessing Server Backups
- Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and press Backups in the sidebar.
- Observe your backup slots, and any backups you have available.
Restoring a Backup
- Using the custom name or the backup creation date, choose your preferred backup and press Restore.
- Select whether you would like to wipe your server before restoration. This would restore your server to exactly what was saved in the backup without any lingering files.
- You may alternatively wish to restore your backup on top of your existing server if you're more familiar with backup management, but this isn't recommended for most use-cases.

- Press Confirm to proceed with the backup restoration. Your server will begin the restoration process which should only take a few moments depending on the size of your backup.
Your panel will automatically let you know once the backup has completed, and you'll be able to start your server or navigate to your server files.
