Your world is now downloaded and ready to be extracted or transferred to another location.

Finding Your World Folder

If you're unsure which folder contains your world data, look for a folder with the following files inside:

  • level.dat - The main world data file
  • region folder - Contains all chunk data for the Overworld
  • playerdata folder - Contains player inventory and position data
  • data folder - Contains world-specific data like advancements and maps

If you changed your level name in the server settings, your world folder will use that custom name instead of the default world.

Troubleshooting

  • Cannot find world folder. Check your server settings for the Level Name value. Your world folder will match this name. If you haven't changed it, it should be world.
  • Archive button not working. Ensure you have selected only the world folder and not multiple files. The server must also be stopped before archiving.
  • Download failed or file is corrupted. Try archiving the folder again. If the problem persists, check your internet connection and available disk space on your local computer.
  • World folder is very large. Large worlds may take several minutes to archive and download. Be patient and ensure you have sufficient disk space and bandwidth.

Downloading your Minecraft server world is a simple process using the file manager's archive and download features. Regular downloads create valuable backups and give you the flexibility to move your world between servers or play it offline in single-player mode.
