The ForestThe Forest offers four difficulty modes that affect enemy spawns, damage, and survival mechanics. Choose the difficulty that best matches your community's playstyle.
Changing the Difficulty
- Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server.
- Click the Settings tab and select The Forest Game Settings.
- Locate Difficulty and select your desired mode.
- Click Save and Start your server.
Difficulty Modes
| Mode | Description |
|---|---|
| Peaceful | No enemies spawn on the surface. Caves still contain enemies. Ideal for building and exploration. |
| Normal | Standard enemy spawns and damage. The intended survival experience. |
| Hard | More enemies spawn, they deal more damage, and are more aggressive. |
Choosing the Right Difficulty
- Peaceful: Best for new players, creative building, or relaxed exploration
- Normal: Recommended for most players wanting the full survival experience
- Hard: For experienced players seeking a greater challenge
