The ForestThe Forest includes a developer console with various cheat commands. This guide covers how to enable the console and all available commands.
The server must have Allow Cheats enabled for players to use console commands. See How to Enable or Disable Cheats for setup instructions.
Enabling the Developer Console
- On The Forest main menu, type
developermodeon(no spaces). - You'll see a message confirming developer mode is active.
- Join your server.
- Press F1 to open the console.
Main Menu Cheat Codes
These codes are typed on the main menu (not in the console) and take effect when you start or join a game:
