How to Join Your The Forest Server

Connect to your The Forest dedicated server using the in-game server browser.

The Forest is a survival horror game where you must survive on a mysterious peninsula after a plane crash. Here's how to connect to your dedicated server.

You will need to know your server's name in order to follow this guide. We have a guide on changing your server's name here.

Joining via Server Browser

Launch The Forest and click Multiplayer from the main menu.
Click Join Game.
Select Dedicated (Internet) from the server type filter.
Use the search bar to find your server by name or scroll through the list.
Click Join to connect.
If you have one enter your Password then click Join

Clicking Join will start your character fresh on the server. If you want to continue with an existing character, make sure to use the correct save slot on the server.

You're now connected to your The Forest server and ready to survive.
