How to Change the Server Name on Your The Forest Server

Customize your The Forest server name as it appears in the server browser.

Your server name is how players will identify and find your server in the in-game server browser. Follow these steps to customize it.

Changing the Server Name

  1. Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server. Wabbanode control panel with stop button

  3. Locate Server Name and enter your desired server name. Server Name setting in The Forest Server Settings
  4. Click Save and Start your server.

  • Keep your server name concise but descriptive
  • Include the game mode or playstyle (e.g., "PvE Survival", "Creative Building")
  • Avoid special characters that may not display correctly
