How to Change the Save Slot on Your The Forest Server

The Forest provides 5 save slots for dedicated servers. Each slot stores a separate world with its own buildings, progress, and player data.

Changing the Save Slot

1. Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server.
2. Click the Settings tab and select The Forest Game Settings.
3. Locate Save Slot and select from Slot 1 through Slot 5.
4. Click Save and Start your server.

Save Slot Uses

Using multiple save slots allows you to:

• Maintain separate worlds for different playstyles
• Keep backup saves of your progress
• Run different game modes (survival, creative, etc.)
• Test settings without affecting your main world

Starting Fresh on a New Slot

If you want to start a new game on a different slot:

1. Change the save slot to an empty slot
2. Set the Init Type to New
3. Save and start the server
