How to Enable or Disable Automatic Updates on Your The Forest Server

Configure automatic updates to keep your The Forest server current with the latest game patches.

Automatic updates ensure your server stays current with the latest game patches and bug fixes. When enabled, your server will automatically download and install updates when they become available.

When automatic updates are disabled, you'll need to manually update your server through the control panel when new versions are released.

Configuring Automatic Updates

  1. Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server. Wabbanode control panel with stop button

  4. Click Save and Start your server.

When to Disable Automatic Updates

You may want to disable automatic updates if:

  • You need to coordinate updates with your community
