How to Set a Server Password on Your The Forest Server

Protect your The Forest server with a password to restrict access to authorized players.

Setting a server password ensures only players who know the password can join your server. This is useful for private servers or community-only gameplay.

Leave the password field empty to allow anyone to join without a password.

Setting a Server Password

Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server.
Click the Settings tab and select The Forest Server Settings.
Locate Server Password and enter your desired password.
Click Save and Start your server.

When sharing your server password with players:

Use a secure communication method
Consider changing the password periodically
Don't use passwords you use for other accounts

Your server is now password protected. Players will need to enter the password when joining.
