How to Add or Remove Your Server from the Community List

Learn how to make your Valheim server visible or hidden in the public server browser.

The community server list is Valheim's in game public server browser where players can discover and join servers. You can choose whether your server appears in this list or remains private.

Adding Your Server to the Community List

  1. Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server. Stopping a Wabbanode server
  2. Click the Settings tab. Opening the Settings tab on Wabbanode panel
  3. Locate the Public Server toggle and enable it. Enabling the public server toggle on a Valheim server
  4. Click Save and Start your server.

Your server will now appear in Valheim's community server browser. Players can find and join it by searching for your server name.

Even with a public server, players still need your password to join. Keep your password set if you want to control who can access your server.

Removing Your Server from the Community List

  1. Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server. Stopping a Wabbanode server

  3. Locate the Public Server toggle and disable it. Disabling the public server toggle on a Valheim server
  4. Click Save and Start your server.

Your server is now hidden from the community browser. Players can still connect directly using your server address.

Your server's visibility in the community list has been updated. Public servers appear in the browser for anyone to find, while private servers require players to connect directly using the server address.
