VeinVEIN simulates the collapse of infrastructure over time. As in-game days pass, electricity and water systems gradually fail, adding to the survival challenge.
You can check the current in-game day using the admin panel's World tab or via the time start offset setting.
Changing Utility Shutoff Times
- Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server.
- Click the Settings tab and select VEIN World Settings.
- Adjust the utility shutoff settings.
- Click Save and Start your server.

Understanding the Timeline
With default settings:
- Day 1-30: Water and electricity work normally
- Day 30+: Water stops, players must find alternative water sources
- Day 46+: Electricity stops, no more powered devices without generators
