VeinPermadeath adds a hardcore element to VEIN by permanently deleting characters when they die. This creates high-stakes survival gameplay where every decision matters.
When permadeath is enabled, dead characters are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. Players must create a new character to continue playing.
Enabling or Disabling Permadeath
- Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server.
- Click the Settings tab and select VEIN World Settings.
- Locate Consolevariables Vein Permadeath and set the value:
1= Permadeath enabled (characters deleted on death)0= Permadeath disabled (characters respawn normally)
- Click Save and Start your server.
Considerations
- Enable for hardcore survival experiences
- Disable for casual or new player-friendly servers
- Consider combining with other hardcore settings like increased zombie damage
Permadeath is now configured according to your preference.
