How to Set a Server Password on Your VEIN Server

Protect your VEIN server with a password to restrict access to authorized players.

Setting a server password ensures only players you share the password with can join. This is ideal for private servers or communities.

Setting a Server Password

  1. Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server. Wabbanode control panel with stop button
  2. Click the Settings tab and select VEIN Server Settings. Wabbanode Settings tab with VEIN Server Settings selected
  3. Locate Server Password and enter your desired password. Server Password field in VEIN server settings
  4. Click Save and Start your server.

Removing the Password

To make your server public again, clear the password field and save your settings.

Players will now need to enter the password when joining your server.
