How to Change the Server Name on Your Project Zomboid Server

Customize your server's display name in the server browser.

The server name is what players see when browsing for servers. Customizing this helps players identify your server and makes it easier for friends to find.

Changing the Server Name

Navigate to the Wabbanode Control Panel and Stop your server.
Click the Settings tab and select Project Zomboid Server Settings.
Locate the Server Name setting and enter your desired name.
Click Save and Start your server.

Tips for Server Names

Keep names concise and descriptive
Include your community name or theme
Avoid special characters that may not display correctly
Consider including the region (e.g., "US East" or "EU")
