How to Change the Server Name on Your Satisfactory Server

Customize your server's display name in the Server Manager.

The server name is what appears in the Server Manager when players add your server. You can change this name at any time through the in-game server settings.

You must be authenticated as an admin to change server settings. See How to Become an Admin if needed.

Changing the Server Name

  1. Launch Satisfactory and open the Server Manager from the main menu. Satisfactory main menu with Server Manager option

  4. Click Apply to save the change.

Tips for Server Names

  • Keep it descriptive so players can identify your server
  • Include your community name or purpose
  • Avoid special characters that may not display correctly

Your server name has been updated. Players will see the new name in their Server Manager.
