SatisfactoryA player password restricts who can connect to your Satisfactory server. Only players who know the password will be able to join and play.
Player password is different from the admin password. The admin password controls access to server settings, while the player password controls who can join the game.
Setting a Player Password
- Launch Satisfactory and open the Server Manager from the main menu.
- Select your server from the list and click the Server Settings tab.
- Click Change Password next to the Player Password option.
- Enter your desired password and click Confirm.
- Click Apply to save.
Removing the Password
To remove the player password and make your server open to anyone:
- Go to Server Settings tab.
- Click Change Password next to Player Password.
- Leave the password fields empty.
- Click Apply to save.

Player password protection is not enabled by default. Your server is open to anyone until you set a password.
